Falcons downed by No. 15 Raiders

MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin was downed on Wednesday night by No. 15 MSOE 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-15) inside the R. John Buuck Field House. It was the second-straight match against a nationally ranked opponent and third this season for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin hung with nationally-ranked MSOE through the first 29 points in the opening set, trailing 16-13, before the visitors went on a 9-3 scoring run to take a set lead in the match.
- The second set was close until the end, as the Falcons scored three-consecutive points in a row late in the second set and trailed 23-21. The Raiders scored the final two points and would lead 2-0 in the match.
- Sophomore James Althoff (Kenosha, Wis.) led the Falcons with seven kills, while senior Matthew Korman (Roscoe, Ill.) had 12 assists. Freshman Dylan Griffith (Middleton, Wis.) had five digs and sophomore Cody Sciabica (Henderson, Nev.) recorded three blocks.
- MSOE was led by Austyn Bella tallied 11 kills and Danny Martens made 10 digs.
