Ellingham named NACC Player of the Week

MILWAUKEE -- Concordia Wisconsin's Andrew Ellingham was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Volleyball Player of the Week, the league office announced.

Ellingham had an outstanding week to lead the Falcons to a pair of five-set NACC victories. He hit .359, smashed 19 kills and had 13 blocks in the two matches. The rookie had 10 kills, hit .350 and blocked five attack attempts (one solo) in a 3-2 win over Marian on Feb. 19, then tallied nine kills, hit .368 and recorded eight blocks in a 3-2 win over Lakeland two days later.

The weekly honor is the first of his career.
