Falcons Smash St. Norbert

DE PERE, Wis. – The CUW men's tennis team picked up a key NACC victory at St. Norbert on Saturday. The victory sends the birds to 7-8 and 4-0 in the NACC and secures the Blue and White a spot in the NACC Tournament in May.

Senior Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) and freshman Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) started the Concordia attack with an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Senior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) and freshman Peter Naylor (Lockport, Ill.) picked up an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Logan Snyder brought out the brooms on court one with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Michael Stanazak.

Tim Peters pushed over Joe Pellechia at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-1.

Landon Sather snagged a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Porter Beilfuss at No. 3 singles.

At No. 4 singles, Peter Naylor notched a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Anthony Michels.

The Falcons have a key match on Sunday in a battle of undefeated NACC teams against Illinois Tech on Sunday morning.
