Diaz scores NACC Men's Soccer Weekly Award

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Junior Dagoberto Diaz has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of October 16-22, the league office announced Monday.

Diaz (Woodburn, Ore.) recorded eight points in a 2-0-0 week for the Falcons. The junior midfielder scored two goals and added an assist in a 4-0 win at Concordia Chicago Sunday and earlier in the week posted a three-point effort in an overtime win at MSOE.

With the two wins last week, the Falcons moved into first place in the NACC Standings and need a tie or win Wednesday for a second outright title in the last three years. CUW has clinched at least a share of the NACC Regular Season Title already.

Diaz and the Falcons will host Rockford Wednesday at 3 p.m.
