ACHA Hockey routs UW-Superior

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin ACHA Men's Hockey team scored early and often Friday night in a convincing win over UW-Superior. Cole Anderson recorded a hat trick and Benny Serres added two goals in the Falcons 9-2 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Serres (Merton, Wis.) got the Falcons on the board 6:10 into the game for his first goal. Just 50 seconds later, Dillon Schwartzenberger (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) put CUW up 2-0. Anthony Pickering (Sylvan Lake, Alberta) added a third opening period goal for the Falcons, who led 3-0 after 20 minutes of play.

- Anderson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) scored two of his three goals in the second period, one in which the Falcons tallied four scores to build a 7-1 lead. Serres added his second score of the game, while Jonathon Grodzki (Tampa Bay, Fla.) tallied a second-period goal as well.

- In the third, Anderson completed the hat trick for the Falcons, while James Buck (Beaufort, South Carolina) added a goal of his own.

- Fifteen different Falcons finished the game with a point, Anderson leading the way with four (three goals, assist). Schwartzenberger, Serres, and Pickering each added three points in the dominant win.

- Brian Johnson (Plainfield, Ill.) made 19 saves in the picking up the win between the pipes for the Falcons.
