ACHA Hockey scores three in third period for comeback win over Panthers

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin ACHA Men's Hockey team scored used a three-goal third period to defeat UW-Milwaukee Friday night. The Falcons trailed 1-0 entering the final stanza before coming back for the 3-1 win. Hunter DePorter made 37 stops in the win for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons got going early in the third period as Cole Anderson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) struck 1:34 into the stanza to tie the score at one. Anthony Pickering and Dillon Schwartzenberger assisted on the Anderson score. That line produced all three scores in the final period.

- Pickering (Sylvan Lake, Alberta) tallied the game-winning goal with 10:54 left in the period with Schwartzenberger picking up an assist. Schwartzenberger (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) added an insurance goal with 8:06 left and Pickering and Anderson assisted on the game's final score.

- DePorter (Miami, Fla.) was solid for the Falcons between the pipes, recording 37 saves, including 17 in the second period. The only UW-Milwaukee score came 4:47 into the game.

- The Falcons will face UW-Milwaukee in a road game tomorrow to complete the home-and-home series. Puck drop is set for 7:40 p.m.
