Women's Hockey falls at No. 4 Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey team went on the road to face the No. 4 Adrian College Bulldogs Friday night for an NCHA matchup. The Falcons could not contain the No. 4 ranked team in the country, allowing three goals in both the second and third periods, resulting in a 7-0 defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons stayed within a goal after 20 minutes of play thanks to 12 first-period saves from sophomore Christina Pattengale (Portage, Mich.). Adrian's lone goal in the opening stanza came 13:02 into play off the stick of Sarah Shureb.

- The Bulldogs got rolling in the second period, scoring three times for a 4-0 lead. Shureb had one of the goals in the second as she was the only Adrian player to finish with multiple goals.

- Adrian would add one three more goals in the third for a 7-0 final. Fourteen different Bulldogs finished the game with a point.

- Pattengale made 41 saves for the Falcons, who were outshot 48-9. Brooke Gibson stopped nine shots for the Bulldogs.
