Zach Wendland Named NACC Field Athlete of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 15-21, 2024, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. Zach Wendland was voted as the NACC Field Athlete of the Week.

A freshman from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Zach Wendland is claiming the honor for the first time in the outdoor season. This is the second overall honor for Wendland.

He posted the 50th-best decathlon score in NCAA Division III this season with a 5,557 total at the Augustana (Ill.) Meet of Champions.

Wendland and the Falcons return to action on Saturday at St. Norbert.
