Men’s Soccer Suffers Road Loss

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The CUW men's soccer team fell to the Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran College Wednesday night 2-0. With the loss, the Falcons' record drops to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

The Warriors wasted no time scoring the game's first goal, as they took the early 1-0 lead in the fifth minute off of a deep strike.

The score would remain 1-0 in Wisconsin Lutheran's favor entering halftime.

In the 67th minute, Wisconsin Lutheran extended their lead following a corner kick that found the back of the net, giving the Warriors the 2-0 lead.

The Falcons were unable to respond and fell 2-0.

In the loss, sophomore Carson Kelly (Fond Du Lac, Wis.), senior Manuel Brito (Chicago, Ill.), and senior Ivan Cuellar (Milwaukee, Wis.) all recorded two shots. Meanwhile, sophomore goalkeeper Jeremy Munoz (Milwaukee, Wis.) registered two saves.

The Falcons will resume action on Saturday when they host the Rockford Regents at 3:30 p.m.
