Falcon men rout MSOE 84-62
Milwaukee
CUW (12-2) wasted no time taking control, shooting 52% while
building an 11 point halftime lead and then cruising to an 84-62
win over MSOE (10-5).
Mitchell Schneider led Concordia with 20 points including 7-8 from
the charity stripe. Luke Doedens (16) and Skip Newton Kemp (12)
were also in double figures. Twelve Falcons got into the scoring
column and all 17 who suited up saw action.
"We played outstanding team defense early with great
intensity...and we are growing closer as a team," said Coach Shawn
Cassidy.
Concordia's defense forced 18 turnovers, many in the early going
when Cassidy's cagers bolted to a 33-11 lead. CUW remains the only
undefeated team in the NAC (8-0) while dropping MSOE to 4-3 in
league play.
