Esports Enters April Play

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW esports team continues to heat up as the calendar turns over onto April. The Falcons competed in Rocket League, Rainbow 6 Siege, Super Smash Bros and Fortnite.

Rainbow 6 Siege secured a 2-0 victory over Arcadia with a 7-5, 7-4 victory. Caeden Perry led the flock with 26 eliminations.

"This win is exactly what our team needed in the few weeks leading up to the playoffs, cementing our team synergy and trust in each other," said Grant Andrada.

The Falcons picked up four wins in the week in Super Smash Bros Meta Solo Play.

In Fortnite, the trio team of Austin Lichtenstein, Kodee Keys and Aiden O'Donnell finished with 337 points. Lichtenstein led CUW with 21 eliminations. In solo play, Anthony Garron led CUW with 410 points.

The Rocket League team of Alex Reimer, Ethan Koch, and Austin Esterly went 2-1 on the week with a 3-2 victory over Fresno State and a 3-2 victory over Wake Forest. Alex Reimer lead CUW with 12 goals on the week.

The Falcons will continue to fight as they push towards the playoffs.
