Esports returns to the win column

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW esports team returned to its winning ways to close out the week. The Falcons competed in Hearthstone, Overwatch and Super Smash Bros.

The Falcons watched over 3-0 victory over Carroll on Thursday night in Overwatch. In the 2-0 victory in game one, Sophomore Margaret Vasey (Cudahy, Wis.) had 9180 healing points. In game two, Vasey had 44 defensive assists in a 3-2 victory. CUW closed the match with a 3-0 victory.

Jack Kral collected a 3-0 victory on Friday night. He won with the Gibbering Druid, Libram Paladin and Control Warlock decks.

In Super Smash Bros solo play, CUW went 1-2, with sophomore De'Shawn Ford (Gardena, Calif.) picking up a 2-1 victory over Rogers State with Myrtha and Pyra.

The Falcons begin a busy week again on Monday night.
