Falcon women earn soccer playoff spot

Concordia, (7-4-1 in the conference), overcame gusting winds to handle Lakeland and earn a spot in the NAC playoffs yesterday.
Emily Waldorf scored 3 times and 4 teammates added single tallies as Ryan Middendorf's team broke from a 2-0 halftime lead to easily dispose of the 4-8 Muskies.
Goalie Mary Ryan had to make only 2 saves as the Falcons controlled the ball and fired 23 shots at the LU goal.
Fifth seeded CUW (10-8-1 overall) will travel to MSOE Sunday in round one of the NAC playoffs.
