Head Coach Bret Corner graduated five starters and will look to boost the lineup with a talented incoming freshman class. Gone are national qualifier Joe Massman and Great Lakes Regional placer Adam Schultz (197), but top returners that came on strong at the end of the year include Kurt Kemnitz (133) and Josh Nord (174). Medical redshirts Anthony Myers and Aaron Bergen return for their senior year. A number of state placers and qualifiers join the team this year. Illinois finalist David Tuomi is the most accomplished and should step right in for the departed Massman. The Falcons will look to improve on their 2nd place finish in conference and 8th in the Great Lakes Region in 2009.
