ANGOLA, Ind. – The Falcons had a 2-1 lead after the first period, but the Thunder rallied as Concordia Wisconsin fell 3-2 to Trine on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Falcons scored 1:30 into the opening period to get on the board. Kristen Kennedy (London, Ontario) had the goal, with Ellie Woodman (Janesville, Wis.) assisting.
-Trine answered two minutes later as Kailey Cameron tied the game at 1-1.
-Maddy Millar (Anchorage, Alaska) regained the lead for the Falcons with a goal at 10:20 in the first. Kennedy and Emily Godwin (London, Ontario) earned assists on the goal.
-The Thunder struck back in the second with the lone goal of the period. Olivia Coyne scored at the 17:37 mark to even the game at 2-2.
-In the third period Sierra Wester scored the game-winner for the Thunder 28 seconds in.
-The Thunder outshot the Falcons 32-29.
