Women’s Hockey falls to Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Falcons suffered their first loss of the season as the Concordia Wisconsin Women's Hockey team fell 4-2 to Lake Forest on Saturday night. 

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Foresters jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Makenzie Kamm scored 26 seconds into the game. Amy Budde added a power play goal six minutes later to put the Falcons down 2-0.
-Emily Godwin (London, Ontario) put the Falcons on the board at 7:23 in the first to cut the Forester lead to one.
-Kristina Bellomo scored in the final minute of the first to give the Foresters a 3-1 lead.
-The Falcons scored once more four minutes into the second as Issy Bilton (Burlington, Ontario) assisted Maddy Millar (Anchorage, Alaska) with the goal to cut the Forester lead in half.
-The Foresters scored once more as Megan Lyke took advantage of power play opportunity, and a scoreless third finalized the game at 4-2.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
-This was the 30th game between Concordia Wisconsin and Lake Forest in Women's Hockey program history. The Falcons are 4-24-2 in the series. The first meeting between these teams was on November 13, 2007.
