Women's Golf participates in UW-Whitewater Fall Invitational

COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. -- Kayla Haen led Concordia Wisconsin with a tie for 44th on the individual leaderboard at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invitational, while the Falcons ended in 14th as a team at The Oaks Golf Course.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Kayla Haen (Appleton, Wis.) paced the Falcons lineup with a t44th after shooting a 93-94 (187), while the Falcons ended in 14th as a team on the leaderboard with a 395-401 (796) total.
- Sophomore Molly Mundinger (West Bend, Wis.) was the second-best golfer in the lineup with a 96-100 (196) total to tie for 60th, while sophomore Abbie Haller (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) fired a 99-101 (200) to tie for 68th.
- Senior Emily Bubla (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) had a 113-106 (219) and had the biggest improvement in the lineup of seven strokes from the opening to closing round. Junior Taylor Chisolm (Lindenhurst, Ill.) carded a 107-115 (222) score.
- Host UW-Whitewater won the team trophy with a 316-319 (635) two-day, 36-hole total.
- Ashley Hofmeister (UW-Whitewater) won medalist honors after signing for a 74-75 (149) score.

NEXT ON THE SCHEDULE
- The Falcons look to defend their NACC title when they compete in the three-day, 54-hole Championship begining on Friday at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine, Wis.
