Women's Golf competes at St. Francis Spring Invitational

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. – Concordia Wisconsin competed in the two-day, 36-hole St. Francis Spring Invitational on Friday and Saturday, and was led by Maddy Zastrow who shot a 180 total.

Falcon Individuals: Maddy Zastrow (90-90 – 180), Emily Hillmann (104-102 – 206), Emily Bubla (128-106 – 234), Taylor Chisolm (122-126 – 248), Anne McGowan (147-124 – 271)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin shot an 886 total (444-442) to finish in 11th overall.
- Junior Maddy Zastrow (Greendale, Wis.) paced the Falcons lineup with a pair of 90 scores for a two-round 180 total to place in a tie for 43rd overall.
- Junior Emily Hillmann (Germantown, Wis.) ended with a 206 total (104-102), while freshman Emily Bubla (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) had a 234 score (128-106).
- Freshman Taylor Chisolm (Lindenhurst, Ill.) accumulated 248 strokes (122-126) and freshman Anne McGowan (Mayville, Wis.) shot a 271 total (147-124). McGowan's 23 stroke improvement from round to round was the best in the lineup.

BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Marissa Singer won individual medalist honors with a 4-over par 148 (77-71) two-day total to edge Mackenzie Mehaffey (Olivet Nazarene) by a stroke.
- Northwestern Ohio claimed the team trophy with a 623 total (318-305) and won by 11 strokes.
