Weekly Preview: Softball closes regular season with Dominican, Lakeland
MEQUON, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin Softball team has its eyes set on the No. 2 seed in the NACC Tournament as it closes the 2015 regular season this weekend with a pair of NACC doubleheaders.
The Falcons are tied with Concordia Chicago for second in the conference entering the weekend, which features doubleheaders against Dominican and Lakeland. Concordia Chicago still has to play NACC unbeaten Aurora, as well as a twinbill against Benedictine, who sits just a game back of the Falcons and Cougars. The top two teams in the NACC Tournament, scheduled to begin Thursday, April 30 at Alverno, receive an opening round bye.
Saturday's doubleheader against Lakeland will be Senior Day as the Falcons honor Felicia Meyer, the team's only senior in 2015.
