
Men's Cross Country Claims Sixth Place at Ken Weidt Classic
MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's cross country team competed in front of the home fans on Saturday morning at the Ken Weidt Classic. The Falcons finished in sixth place as a team with 157 points. The Raiders of the Milwaukee School of Engineering claimed the team title at 30 points.
Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) finished in second place at 25:49.0.
Sophomore Isaiah Lubner (Campbellsport, Wis.) was in 42nd place at 27:49.9.
Junior Preston Meier (Owatonna, Wis.) finished the race in 50th place at 28:27.9.
Freshman Jonah Slavik (Muskego, Wis.) secured a time of 28:50,5 in 56th place.
Freshman Eric Krause (Jackson, Wis.) clocked in at 35:48.8 in 74th place, just ahead of Riley Johnson in 75th place at 36:27.2.
Sophomore Aaron Klug (Arlington, Va.) collected 132nd-place honors at 37:45.5.
The Falcons will race again at Rose Hulman on Oct. 4.
