White named NACC Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin junior Tyler White was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

White (Milwaukee, Wis.) had an impressive performance at the Private College Invite, breaking his own school record in the triple jump by recording a leap of 14.02 meters. That effort was good enough to top all competitors in the event.

White also posted a strong mark in the long jump, leaping 6.52 meters. He finished second in that event. White won both of those events a year ago at the NACC Indoor Championships, earning him Co-Field Athlete of the Meet honors.

White and the Falcons will be back in action next Saturday at the UW-Stout Open with the meet scheduled to begin at noon.
