Men’s Golf Wraps up Tournament at WLC Fall Invitational

HARTFORD, Wis. – The men's golf team finished play at the WLC Fall Invitational on Saturday ending up in 12th place.

The tournament's day one leaders in Luther held on to the lead to claim the WLC Fall Invitational crown at 746 strokes.

The Falcons were led by senior captain Jordan Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) who took eighth overall for the weekend tournament shooting a 150 (73-77).  Carlton would end up at six-over par for the weekend.

Behind one Carlton was the other, sophomore Andrew Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) finished the tournament at 163 total strokes (81-82) to finish the two-day tournament in 39th place.

Sticking in third place for the Falcons was junior Carsten Zange (Robins, Iowa) posting a tournament score of 167 strokes (81-86).  Freshman Nico Murgas Bennett (Hartford, Wis.) recorded a 178-stroke weekend posting day scores of 87 and 91 strokes.

Junior Tyberius Neideffer (Racine, Wis.) landed with scores of 108 and 97 giving him a total of 205 strokes on the weekend.  Freshman Nathan Ubben (Appleton, Wis.) finished close behind with a total score of 206 strokes.

The Falcons get back to the course on Friday as they compete at Bull Valley Country Club in Rockford, Illinois.
