VanHandel's Tournament win locks up NACC Men's Golf Weekly Award

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Bailey VanHandel of the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Golf Team has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of March 19-25, the league office announced Monday evening.

VanHandel (Kaukauna, Wis.) won the Illinois College Invite after firing a round of 75 on Sunday. The sophomore finished one stroke ahead of three different players for the tournament win on the par-72 course.

The Falcons won the Illinois College Invite as a team as well, recording a team score of 316.

CUW is scheduled to compete at the Knox Invitational this Friday and Saturday at Soangetaha Country Club in Galesburg, Illinois.
