Justice Kaneta Named WFCA Private School Player of the Year

MEQUON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) announced Justice Kaneta as its Private School Player of the Year.

A junior linebacker from Brighton, Colorado, Justice Kaneta is claiming the honor for the first time. He is also the first Falcon to claim the title since Austin Damaschke in 2013.

Kaneta led the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) 2023 with 99 total tackles and three interceptions returned for a touchdown. He finished the campaign with three sacks for 29 yards, 9.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, four interceptions and two passes broken up.

For his accomplishments, Kaneta was also voted to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) All-Conference First Team.

Kaneta will be honored on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin at the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-State Banquet.
