Cole Aguirre Claims NACC Weekly Honor
MEQUON, Wis. –The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its weekly Student-Athlete of the Week honors for baseball on Tuesday morning. Cole Aguirre was voted the NACC Baseball Position Player of the Week by the conference's athletic communications professionals.
A senior from Chino Hills, California, Cole Aguirre is claiming the honor for the first time in his career.
Aguirre posted an outstanding week for the Falcons. He finished the week going eight for 17, with two doubles, five RBIs, and five runs.
The California native recorded two hits and at least a run scored in every game.
Against Carroll, he had two hits, including a double, with two RBIs and a run scored.
Justin Zimmerman of Aurora was voted as the NACC Pitcher of the Week.
Aguirre and the Falcons return to play on Tuesday against St. Scholastica.
