Baseball Picked Seventh in NACC Preseason Poll
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its Baseball Preseason Poll on Friday Morning. The Falcons are projected to finish in seventh place.
Concordia Wisconsin received 198 points from the voting panel, which consists of the head coach and an athletics communications professional from each of the NACC's 13 baseball institutions.
The defending champion, Aurora Spartans picked up 316 points and 13 first-place votes. Benedictine also picked up 316 points and 10 first-place votes.
MSOE had a first-place vote and 294 points and Edgewood had two first-place votes and 260 points.
In fifth place was Concordia Chicago with 202 points and Illinois Tech was in sixth place with 201 points.
The Falcons open the season on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Carroll.
The NACC portion of the schedule begins on March 23 at Dominican.
