Men's Golf Opens the NACC Championships in Ninth Place

KOHLER, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's golf team opened play at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Golf Championships on Sunday. The Falcons opened the four-day tournament on Sunday at Blackwolf Run Golf Course. The Spartans of Aurora led the competition at 300 strokes. The Falcons are in ninth place at 343 strokes.

Sophomore Grant Naumann (Oconomowoc, Wis.) leads Concordia in 13th place at 80 strokes.

Junior Joshua Samsell (Bay City, Mich.) is in a tie for 27th place eat 86 strokes.

Junior Nico Murgas-Bennett (Hartford, Wis.) is in a four-way tie for 34th place at 88 strokes.

Junior Tyler Yaun (Rockton, Ill.) finished the day at 89 strokes in 38th place.

Senior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) rounded out the flock at 93 strokes in 45th place.

Round two will take place on Monday morning at Blackwolf Run Golf Course.
