Falcons Pierced by Pride

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW ACHA team returned to the Ozaukee Ice Center for the first time in two weeks to take on the Pride on the 20^th of November.

In their matchup on Friday, the Falcons dominated the game and left the Pride high and dry with a final score of 9-4.

The Pride flipped the script on Saturday when they took home the 5-1 victory over the Falcons.

Purdue Northwest struck first when they scored two goals in the first period.

The Falcons tried to mount a comeback with a goal from sophomore John Swiatek (Rochester, N.Y.) in the fifteenth minute of the second period.  The goal was assisted by junior Scott Gregor (Ashland, Wis.).

This was however the only Falcons goal.

The Pride went on to score three unanswered in the third period to secure the victory.

Junior Ian Robertson (Calgary, Alta.) recorded 51:33 between the posts with junior Mack Willy (Tacoma, Wash.) finishing off the other 8:27.

The Falcons Travel to Roosevelt on December third as they continue their conference schedule.
