Emma Ahrens Named NACC Student-Athlete of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced the weekly honors for cross country on Thursday morning. Emma Ahrens was voted as the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week by the league's athletic communications.

A freshman from Stephens City, Virginia, is claiming the honor for the first time.

Ahrens led all NACC women's runners at the St. Norbert Tom Barry Invitational with a fourth-place finish. She traversed the five-kilometer course in 19:14.46 while helping the Falcons claim the team title in a race that featured three other NACC schools as well as NCAA Division I UW-Green Bay.

Ahrens and the Falcons return to action on Saturday at home at the Ken Weidt Classic.
