#CUWStatsInfo: Women's Volleyball aims for third consecutive NACC Championship

MEQUON, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin women's volleyball team aims for a third consecutive NACC Championship this year.

Conference dominance: The Falcons enter the season as the back-to-back defending NACC Champions. They have gone undefeated in conference matches the past two seasons, with a conference winning streak going all the way back to October 23rd, 2015. With an active 25 game conference winning streak, the Falcons will look to continue their conference dominance this season.

All-conference leadership: Entering her senior year, Amanda Schultz (North Prairie, Wis.) will look to lead the team to another championship. Last season Shultz had 256 kills with a .258 hitting percentage and was selected to 1st team all-conference. Shultz will look to close out her collegiate career with another NACC Championship.

Preseason poll: NACC head coaches and sports information directors voted the Falcons to tie for first place in the conference. CUW led the poll with 14 first-place votes and 324 points, while Aurora also earned 324 points with 12 first-place votes. The Falcons will look to stand alone atop the conference.

Veteran coach: Returning for her sixth season is head coach Janelle Katz. Under her leadership, the Falcons have won 107 matches with a 47-8 conference record. Katz has won back-to-back NACC Coach of the Year awards and looks to guide the Falcons to a third consecutive NACC Championship.

Road warriors: CUW opens the season on the road against Concordia Chicago on Saturday, September 1st. Only two of the Falcons' 15 September matches are played at home. The Falcons have 10 away games to open the season before their first home match on Saturday, September 22nd when they face off against MSOE.
