Women's Volleyball sweeps MSOE in home opener

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Volleyball team swept MSOE on Saturday in their home opener. With the 3-0 win, the Falcons improved to 3-0 in the NACC.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-After falling behind 2-1 early in the first set, the Falcons went on a five-point run and never trailed again on their way to a 25-15 set win.
-MSOE gained a lead in the second set at 4-3, but lost it on the next point. The Raiders pulled within two points at 18-20, after which the Falcons went on a 7-1 run to take the set 25-19.
-The third set reflected the first, with Concordia Wisconsin in control throughout down to the identical 25-15 set win.
-Amanda Schultz (North Prairie, Wis.) led the Falcons with 12 kills, hitting .458 in the match. Haley Sedo (Neenah, Wis.) had 14 assists and two aces. Kelsey Kleba (Hartland, Wis.) had a solo block and five block assists.
-The Falcons had 39 kills to the Raiders 20. CUW also had an 8-20 advantage in errors.

MATCH NOTES
-This was the 38th match between the Falcons and Raiders in program history. CUW leads the series 31-7, and has an active 12-game winning streak.
