Women’s Triathlon Competed in Virginia

SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE, Va. – The CUW triathlon team traveled to Virginia to compete in the USA Triathlon East Region Qualifier.

Senior Aimee Uebersetzig (El Cajon, Calif.) finished first of the Falcons and 18^th overall with a total time of 1:18:27.7.  She had a swim time of 13:40.30, a bike time of 36:29.30, and a run time of 25:57.10.

The other Falcon competitor, junior Janneke Bannink (Shorewood, Wis.) finished 26^th overall with a race time of 1:21:39.10.  She had swim, bike and run times of 14:07.30, 36:32.10, and 28:38.90 respectively.

The Falcons head to Utah on Oct. 30 for another triathlon competition.
