Triathlon competes at Millikin

DECATUR, Ill. – The CUW triathlon team competed at the Millikin Division III Invitational on Saturday.

Senior Aimee Uebersetzig (El Cajon, Calif.) was the fastest Falcon on Saturday and finished in 12^th place with a time of 1:18.06. She had the 10^th-best swim time at 13:09 and the ninth-best run time at 24:13.

Junior Janneke Bannink (Shorewood, Wis.) finished in 12^th place at 1:18.17 after posting the 10^th-best time in the bike race at 37:11.

Sophomore Kelsey Leaf (Hartford, Wis.) collected a 32^nd-place finish with a time of 1:36.20. She was the 25^th-fastest swimmer on the day at 15:51.

The Falcons will compete again on Oct. 16 at the USA Triathlon East Region Qualifier.
