CUW’s Harrington and Strehlow crowned NAC individual champions

CUW's Meagan Harrington and Kaitlyn Strehlow won the top doubles flight, defeating Benedictine's Loughery and Tiffany Wakim 8-5 in the championship match, to take the NAC doubles championship. Harrington and Strehlow were the top-seeded team while Loughery and Wakim were the second-seeded team.

In the final of the 'C' flight, CUW's Kristine Weber took down Dominican's Emily Hereford 6-4, 6-4.

CUW also took the doubles 'B' flight final as Phoebe Milner and Julie Spransy defeated Marian's Rachel Brotz and Rebecca Hezcko 8-2.

"I was proud of these ladies this weekend" said Coach Segneri. "They all fought for every point, and supported each other."

CUW qualified for the team tournament that will be held in May.

Dominican University will be their first round match opponent.

Most of the NAC teams concluded their fall season this weekend at the championship and will continue play in the spring. The NAC team tournament, which determines the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA III Championship, will take place the first week of May and includes the league's top six teams based on the final regular season dual standings.
