Five Falcons earn All-NACC Women’s Soccer honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference named five Falcons to the All-NACC teams in women's soccer on Thursday afternoon. CUW had one player on the All-NACC First Team.
"I'm very happy to have these players recognized within our conference," said head coach Ryan Middendorf. "These are well-deserved accolades for these young women. I'm proud of each of them receiving week-deserved recognition, but even more proud of the impact they've had on our soccer program and team."
A junior midfielder from, Mundelein, Illinois, Carroll was named to the All-NACC First Team for the first time in her career, after being named to the All-NACC Second Team in 2017. In NACC action, she recorded four goals and two assists. On Oct. 24, she recorded two goals and two assists against Alverno.
A senior defender from Chesterfield, Michigan, Johnson earned All-NACC Second Team honors for the second-straight season. She was an All-Freshman Team selection in 2015. Johnson tallied two goals and two assists in NACC play. She was also an anchor on a defense that posted five shutouts in NACC play.
A sophomore forward from Mission Viejo, California, Tomich is claiming All-NACC Second Team accolades for the first time. Tomich led the NACC with 13 goals in conference play. She finished the NACC season with 32 shots on goal and one assist. At Wisconsin Lutheran, she recorded a hat trick, with three goals.
A senior forward from Waukesha, Wisconsin, Ciesielczyk is receiving her first All-NACC honor. The Falcon senior scored all seven of her goals in NACC play in 2018. She also tallied five assists. On Oct. 10 against Lakeland, she earned a hat trick with three goals.
A junior defender from Bartell, Illinois, Dombrowski is claiming All-NACC honors for the third time in her career. She was a first-team selection in 2015 and second-team honoree in 2017. Dombrowski played a key part in the Falcons' defensive success. Helping the Blue and White post five shutout victories in the conference.
Dominican's Josseline Williams earned her second consecutive NACC Offensive Player of the Year honor, while her teammate Danielle Mason was named NACC Defensive Player of the Year. Dominican's Carlos Carrillo was named the NACC Coach of the Year. Illinois Tech's Jamie Griggs claimed this year's NACC Freshman of the Year title.
The Falcons finished in third place in the NACC at 8-3 and advanced to the NACC Tournament Semifinals.
