MSOE roars back to tie CUW

Mequon

"They (MSOE) played with more intensity than we did and they certainly earned my respect," offered CUW coach Ryan Middendorf after the Raiders came back from a 2-0 deficit to tie Concordia 2-2 last evening. "They were organized and resilient while we were complacent... and now they are 3-0-1 and we are 2-0-2 so every NAC match is big for us."

Mary Ryan was strong in the nets for CUW again. "Both teams had chances late in the game and in the overtimes, but Mary made some strong saves after MSOE had the momentum going their way." The Falcons made it look easy early on with goals by Lauren Straehler and Hannah Brehmer in the first thirty minutes, but MSOE turned the tide in the second half.
