"This was a real battle. I was proud of our players for their effort and happy about everything but the score," said Coach Ryan Middendorf after CUW's grueling 1-1 2 OT match with Edgewood.
Lauren Straehler notched the lone Falcon tally, but Middendorf also cited Kelly Bolli for an especially valiant effort from her central defender position.
CUW is 3-3-1 on the season.
