Eight Falcons named to MWLC All-Academic Team

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin had eight student-athletes from the Women's Lacrosse program earn Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference All-Academic Team honors, the league office announced.

The MWLC All-Academic Team is selected at the conclusion of each academic year. The honor is given to student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. To be named to the all-academic team, student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 and must have lettered during the previous season.

Honorees from CUW were senior Sabrina Boehlke (Random Lake, Wis.), sophomore Caitlin Henry (Lansing, Ill.), sophomore Allison Kurek (Chicago, Ill.), freshman Christina Pattengale (Portage, Mich.), senior Katherine Pauletti (Roseville, Minn.) senior Nina Puch (Des Plaines, Ill.), junior Veronika Metanova (Palatine, Ill.), freshman Ellie Woodman (Janesville, Wis.)

The Falcons finished the season with a program record 15-3 record, which included a perfect 10-0 record during MWLC play. They won the MWLC regular season and Tournament Championship, as well as made its second-consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. CUW set the program's single season record for caused turnovers (296) and goals against average (7.94).
