Women's Lacrosse ranked regionally for first time

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin's Women's Lacrosse program was recently ranked sixth in the latest NCAA West regional rankings. The Falcons earned a share of the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference regular season title this last weekend after a pair of road victories.

The Falcons are 12-1 overall and 8-0 in MWLC play, and are on a seven-game winning streak. They have outscored opponents by an average of 6.6 goals per victory and by 10 goals in league play.

CUW ranks second nationally in caused turnovers per game (17.08) and ground balls per game (28.62). They are also 21st in scoring margin (6.62) and 25th in scoring defense (7.0). They are undefeated at Fitting Field and lead the MWLC in several statistical categories.

The Falcons host Beloit on Wednesday at 4 pm at Fitting Field and with a victory will become the outright MWLC regular season champions.
