Kurek earns MWLC Defensive Player of the Week honors

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Allison Kurek earned Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading Concordia Wisconsin to the regular season title this past week, the league office announced.

The sophomore had seven goals, one assist, eight ground balls, five draw controls and seven caused turnovers during an 18-3 win over Beloit on Wednesday, which clinched the MWLC regular season title for the Falcons with an undefeated record. Kurek then had one goal, three ground balls, five draw controls and three caused turnovers against regionally ranked Colorado College on Saturday.

The weekly honor is the ninth of her career and the fifth this season.
