Men's Track & Field in Fifth Place at NACC Championships

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's track & field team competed at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday. The Falcons are in fifth place after the first day with 17 points. The Raiders of MSOE lead with 60.5 points.

Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) earned the silver medal in the 5000-meter run at 15.15.42. Freshman Jonah Slavik (Muskego, Wis.) was fifth at 15:33.28 and sophomore Mason Everts (Saukville, Wis.) was 15th at 17:00.21.

Freshman Lucas Mathes (Brillion, Wis.) reached 13.19 meters in fourth place in the triple jump. Freshman Corban Jackson (Green Bay, Wis.) was 10th at 12.58 meters and sophomore Aaron Klug (Arlington, Va.) was 16th at 11.83 meters.

In the heptathlon, sophomore Zach Wendland (Green Bay, Wis.) is third at 2306 points and senior Jacob Couillard (Kingsford, Mich.) is 11th with 1907 points.

Sophomore Se'Korrey Thomas (Punta Gorda, Fla.) led the flock in the 60-meter dash at 7.06 in 10th place. Freshman Silas Bernardino (Daly City, Fla.) was 22nd at 7.48.

In the weight throw, junior John Kutner (Muskego, Wis.) was 11th at 13.66 meters and freshman Clayton Nichols (Oconomowoc, Wis.) was 20th at 11.36 meters.

Sophomore Luke Witte (Monroe, Mich.) was ninth in the 60-meter hurdles at 9.91.

The Falcons finish the championships on Saturday.
