Men's Lacrosse announces All-Decade Team

MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Men's Lacrosse program has been highly successful during its decade of existence and the coaching staff, along with athletic communications, collaborated to choose the best players from each position since the program started in 2011.

During the first 10 years of competition, the Falcons compiled a 107-54 (.665) all-time record and a 59-20 (.753) record in conference games. They have also compiled an outstanding 59-17 (.776) record on its home turf at Fitting Field. They won a MLC regular season and tournament championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2019.

Goalkeeper: Garrett Wohlford (2016-19)
Career Accolades: Is the program's only All-American. Was named the following all four years of his career - IMLCA All-Region, MLC Defensive Player of the Year and All-MLC First Team. Named MLC Rookie of the Year. He was also named MLC Defensive Player of the Week 10 times.
Career Stats: Program record holder for career saves (737), saves per game (10.10), save percentage (.629) and wins (53). He also holds single-season records for saves (202), saves per game (10.82) and wins (15).

Defense: Christopher Grenz (2012-15)
Career Accolades: All-MLC First Team three times (2013, 2014, 2015)
Career Stats: Ended his career ranked first in caused turnovers with 71 [currently ranks fifth]. Had 29 caused turnovers during his sophomore season.

Defense: Paul Fisher (2015-18)
Career Accolades: All-MLC First Team three times (2016, 2017, 2018)
Career Stats: Program's all-time career leader in caused turnovers (126), the single-season record holder for caused turnovers (57) and game record for caused turnovers (11). Ranked fifth nationally his senior year in caused turnovers per game (3.00).

Defense: Ryan Voskuil (2017-20)
Career Accolades: All-MLC First Team (2019), All-MLC Honorable Mention (2018), MLC Rookie of the Year (2017) and MLC Defensive Player of the Week once.
Career Stats: Ranks tied for seventh all-time in program history for caused turnovers (56).

Short-Stick Defensive Midfield: Mario Baregi (2016-2019)
Career Accolades: All-MLC First Team (2019), All-MLC Second Team (2018)
Career Stats: 81 ground balls, 23 caused turnovers and 17 points (10 goals, seven assists). Falcons were 53-21 overall and 31-3 in MLC play during his four years.

Long-Stick Midfield: Mark Wilson (2013-16)
Career Accolades: All-MLCFirst Team (2015, 2016)
Career Stats: Ended his career ranked first all-time in caused turnovers with 79 [currently ranks third] and fourth in ground balls with 184 [currently ranks fifth].

Faceoff Specialist: Danny Bundra (2013-16)
Career Accolades: All-MLC First Team (2014, 2015), All-MLC Second Team (2013, 2016), MLC Defensive Player of the Week three times.
Career Stats: Owns the program's all-time records for ground balls (368), faceoff wins (787) and faceoff win percentage (.606). Also is the single-season leader for ground balls (102).

Midfield: Stephen Gregory (2016-19)
Career Accolades: MLC Co-Offensive Player of the Year (2019), All-MLC First Team (2018, 2019), All-MLC Honorable Mention (2017)
Career Stats: Program's career record holder for shots attempted (467), while also ranking second for game-winning goals (9) and shots on goal (209). He is one of six players in program history to score over 100 goals in a career (114).

Midfield: Danny Dahms (2011-14)
Career Accolades: All-MLC Second Team (2011, 2012, 2014), MLC Offensive Player of the Week once.
Career Stats: Ended his career as the program's all-time leader in man-up goals with 27 [still owns record]. Held the single-season record for points with 62 [currently ranks second], assists with 27 [currently ranks second], shots on goal with 68 [currently ranks fourth] and goals with 35 [currntly ranks tied for sixth].

Midfield: Derek Brueske (2012-15)
Career Accolades: All-MLC First Team (2015), All-MLC Second Team (2014), All-MLC Honorable Mention (2012)
Career Stats: Holds the career record for points with 198, assists with 82 and shots on goal with 212. Held the shots attempted record with 424 [currently ranks second]. Scored a then single-season record 42 goals in 2015.

Attack: Sam Wladyka (2011-14)
Career Accolades: All-MLC Second Team (2013), All-MLC Honorable Mention (2014)
Career Stats: Holds the program's career record for goals with 123. Ended his career as the program's all-time leader in points with 172 [currently ranks second] and shots on goals with 186 [currenlty ranks third]. Also held the single-season record for goals with 35 [currently ranks tired for sixth].

Attack: Kellen Asmundson (2016-17)
Career Accolades: All-MLC First Team (2017), MLC Defensive Player of the Week once
Career Stats: Holds the program's career record for assists per game with 1.35 and the single-season records for points (72) and assists (39).

Attack: Marino Best (2013-16)
Career Accolades: All-MLC First Team (2016), MLC Offensive Player of the Week twice
Career Stats: Ended his career ranked third all-time for goals with 108 [currently ranks fifth], third in man-up goals with 108 [currently ranks tied for fourth] and fourth in points with 142 [currently sixth]. Owns the single-season record for goals with 44 and is still tied for first with 11 points and nine goals in a game.
