NEWSWORTHY NOTES
•  BACK-TO-BACK:
Mother Nature hasn't been kind to anyone in the Midwest over the last few weeks and as a result, the Falcons will be playing back-to-back games this week. In the program's history, they have played on consecutive days eight times.
• GETTING DEFENSIVE: Concordia Wisconsin never makes it easy for the opposition to find the back of the net, evident by its 6.31 goals against average. The program's single-season record is 6.16 goals against from last season.
•  THE SERIES, LAST MEETING: Concordia Wisconsin won 9-5 over Benedictine on March 18 of last season. During the win, they scored four goals in a row to break a 3-3 tie and take the momentum. Stephen Gregory led the offense with a hat trick, while Garrett Wohlford made 13 saves. Ben Gramarossa also won 15-of-17 faceoffs.
• SCOUTING BENEDICTINE: The Eagles have won seven games in a row by a combined score of 86-33. During those wins, they twice scored at least 20 goals. The Eagles lead the MLC in save percentage (62.5), mainly due to Sam Sanko who has played in 12 games and has a 60.6 save percentage.
