Kittel, Kahlfeldt named to All-NACC teams

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Eric Kittel and Keith Kahlfeldt represented Concordia Wisconsin on the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference postseason honors list, the league office announced Friday morning.

Kittel (junior, Brillion, Wis.) was named All-NACC First Team for the second year in a row after leading CUW in scoring at 15.8 points per game while shooting 46.5 percent from the field. He also led the team with 77 assists and 62 steals. Kittle surpassed the 1,000 point plateau in the Falcons 120-110 win at Aurora on Feb. 13, becoming the 15th member in program history. He scored in double-digits in all but one game this season, which included a career-high 30 points in the season opener against UW-River Falls.

Kahlfeldt (senior, New Berlin, Wis.) earned All-NACC Second Team honors for the second straight season after averaging 12.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. He scored a career-high 42 points at Aurora on Feb. 13 going 14-of-20 from the floor and 7-of-10 from downtown. Kahlfeldt also surpassed the 1,000 point plateau at Wisconsin Lutheran on Jan. 14 becoming the 14th member in program history. He finished his career with 1,167 points ranking third in program history (NCAA era).

The Falcons set the program's single game record for points scored in a game with 127 scored on senior night against Concordia Chicago (Feb. 20). They won nine-straight conference games to close the regular season, posted an 8-4 record at home and led the conference with 11.1 steals per game.
