MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons got back on track on Saturday afternoon at Tomasini Stadium. The Falcons improved to 3-1 on the year and 1-1 in the NACC with a 35-7 victory over Concordia Chicago.

The Falcons started the scoring on the opening drive when sophomore TJ Harrold (Rosenberg, Texas) caught a pass from senior James Linn (Chino Hills, Calif.) and he trucked his way into the endzone for a 42-yard pass for his first touchdown as a Falcon.

The Blue and White took advantage of special teams' play when sophomore Gio Nowotarski (Reading, Pa.) blocked a punt that was recovered by junior Ryley McCreary (Pleasant Prairie, Wis.).

Seven plays later, James Linn connected with senior Tim Houlihan (Lockport, Ill.) for an 11-yard touchdown pass.

Gio Nowotarski blocked his second punt of the game later in the first quarter which was once again recovered by McCreary.

The Cougars made their way onto the scoreboard before halftime when they blocked a punt of their own and recovered it in the end zone.

James Linn continued the air attack in the third quarter and found junior Samuel Campbell Jr. (Milwaukee, Wis.) open in the middle of the end zone.

CUW scored twice in the fourth quarter on a pair of fourth-down plays, where Linn threw to Tim Houlihan and Samuel Campbell Jr. in the corner of the end zone.

The Falcons finished with 328 yards in the victory.

James Linn threw for a season-high 247 yards and five touchdowns. Tim Houlihan had 111 yards receiving to lead the flock.

The CUW defense held the Cougars to only 46 yards through the air. The Falcons also had nine tackles for a loss, with junior Ben Kraft (Wauwatosa, Wis.) leading the way with 2.5. Kraft finished the day with 13 total tackles.

The Falcons look to continue their winning ways on the road on Saturday at Rockford.
