
Football Picked Fifth in NACC Preseason Poll
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its 2022 Football Preseason Poll on Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons are projected to finish fifth within the conference.
The Falcons picked up 99 points in the poll.
The Spartans of Aurora are favored to repeat as NACC champions with 157 points and 13 of the 18 first-place votes.
Benedictine was picked second with 142 points and three first-place votes. In third place was St. Norbert with 115 points and one vote.
Lakeland edged the Falcons with 104 points.
Rockford also had a first-place vote in eighth place.
The Falcons finished in fourth place in the NACC in 2021 at 4-4 on the year.
CUW opens the year on Sept. 3 at Martin Luther. Concordia opens NACC play on Sept. 17 at Benedictine.
