CUW Erupts against Eureka

MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons walk away from the 2020-21 season leading the NACC with three victories on the year. The Falcons secured their third victory of the year with a 37-21 victory over Eureka in a battle of the only two NACC schools that played five games in the 2020-21 season.

The Falcons exploded out of the gate with 21 points in the first quarter.

Junior James Linn (Chino Hills, Calif.) started the scoring with a 19-yard pass to junior Josh Turner (Palatine, Ill.) 94 seconds into the game.

CUW struck again six minutes later with a 17-yard pass from Linn to sophomore Christian Booker (Chicago, Ill.).

The Red Devils found themselves on the scoreboard with 2:39 left in the first quarter.

The Falcons responded with a 12-second drive on a 75-yard bomb to Tim Houlihan (Lockport, Ill.).

CUW scored five seconds into the second quarter with an eight-yard connection from Linn to freshman Samuel Campbell (Milwaukee, Wis.).

The Linn to Campbell connection put the Falcons up 34-14 at halftime.

Sophomore Mason Kaschinske (Fort Wayne, Ind.) put the game out of reach with a 17-yard field goal.

The Falcons defense kept the Red Devils in check all day. The Falcons forced five fumbles and picked off one pass.

Senior Dwayne Rackard III (Orlando, Fla.) led the flocked with 13 total tackles. He also recovered one fumble. The senior also broke up two passes.

Senior Troy Stewart Trevor, Wis.) intercepted a pass in the end zone to help secure the victory.
