Nixon earns NACC Offensive Player of the Week

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Concordia Wisconsin's Aaron Nixon was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week for Football, as selected by the league's athletic communicators.

Nixon, a senior quarterback from North Prairie, Wisconsin, accounted for 503 yards and three touchdowns in the Falcons' 27-24 setback against Augsburg. He completed 33 of 51 passes for 358 yards and two scores while adding 140 yards on the ground, including a 60-yard touchdown scamper in the fourth quarter. Nixon averaged 7.0 yards per pass attempt 10.8 yards per rush. 

The NACC weekly accolade is the first of the season and fifth of his career.
