Acrobatics & Tumbling stumbles in season opener

ADRIAN, Mich. – The CUW acrobatics & tumbling team opened the season with a loss on the road at Adrian. The Falcons came up short to the Bulldogs with a score of 208.525 points to 233.695 for Adrian.

The Falcons opened the evening with a score of 27.30 points in the compulsory event, which was highlighted by an 8.60-point performance in the toss heat.

The Blue and White went into halftime with a score of 24.55 points in the acro event and 23.15 points in the pyramid event.

The inversion pyramid had the highest CUW score of the night at 9.00 points.

The Falcons added 22.45 points in the toss event and 41.225 points in the tumbling event.

CUW closed the night with a score of 69.85 points in the team event.

Concordia Wisconsin will open the open portion of the schedule on Sunday, Feb. 9 against Georgetown College.
