Meijer Moment of the Week
MEQUON, Wis. – This week we continue our Meijer Moment of the Week presented by Meijer "Higher Standards, Lower Prices."
This week, junior Lindsey Smitsdorff (Coon Rapids, Minn.) of the women's basketball team took the game into her hands with a 19 point and 19 rebound game to secure the 68-51 victory over the Lakeland Muskies. She recorded the ninth double-double of her career and her sixth of the season. Smitsdorff currently leads the Falcons in scoring with 110 total points, rebounding with 123 total rebounds, and blocks with 32 total blocks on the season.
She currently leads the NACC in blocked shots per game with 3.2 slotting her sixth in the nation as well. On top of that, she is second in four other categories such as total blocked shots, defensive rebounds per game (9.1), total rebounds, and rebounds per game (12.3).
